The other day I posted I had finished up KG Klink for France, but then I ordered some more stuff, which I received this past Thursday, and I finished it up today. So KG Klink and its opponents are now officially finished.
Once again, hats off to The Warstore. They were super-helpful (in helping me figure out exactly what was available and getting a confusing order 100% correct) and super-speedy (ordered Tuesday, received Thursday). Thanks a bunch!

This is everything I ordered. Two Panzer Is, two Panzer IIs, six Panzer IIIs, three Panzer IVs, a Stug IIIC, a Sdkfz 221, a PzJgr I, and two French Char B1 bis.

The battle of Stone was called Verdun of 1940 because French and German fought with doggedness there.

1) Yeah, I'm not sure why I bought enough tanks to do KG Klink's Panzer Company 1 to 1, when the Allies don't have nearly as many tanks.
but
2) The French have 3 Char Bs and the Brits have a Matilda II and 2 Matilda Is, so qualitatively they definitely have the advantage.
There will never be a game where the whole KG Klink Pz Co is on the table, but the Germans will always enjoy a numerical advantage 1) to show their better command and control and doctrinal superiority, and 2) to off-set the superior armor advantage of the Allies. And don't think I won't cheat by bringing in a Stuka or '88.' I'm very scared of Capt Billotte ;)
I won't be playing out Stonne (I'm loosely following 7th Panzer Division), but I expect every fight to be knock-down, drag out. What fun would it be otherwise? ;)
