These have been requested quite often (by mollinary in particular!) so here they are!

Horse and ride felled together like that!? What weapons do these English use?
The plague FK!
Great markers, well done chaps!
Those look, great, look forward to picking them up at SALUTE.
:D :D
Mollinary
Like those a lot as well
How is Mollinary managing to get so many suggestions adopted? Wish I had such influence. ;)
Hope Leon has arranged a large truck to get all the new figures and vehicles as well as all the pre-orders and existing ranges to Salute. Perhaps hiring it one way would be a good idea, then just a smaller van to get back to Middlesbrough (via Cumbria). :)

Now, now. Leon was young and he needed the money.

Well, Ray, for the ECW casualty markers it is pretty straightforward - I made the suggestion, and offered to commission them, and pay Techno to sculpt them. The rest, as they say is history! And a year later, here they are :D :D. Rather like the Austrian 1866 and the generic mid eighteenth century casualty, really.
Mollinary
Ah, bribery - I should have tried that earlier. :D
You did. ;)
Cheers - Phil
I love the ECW/TYW period, I have a fair few 28mm figures for the Covenanter wars in Scotland but sooooo blinking tempted to do it in 10mm as the figures look lovely/ :-bd

Not wishing to rain on the parade, but the casualties look like three cavalrymen and one musketeer. The man without a horse but wearing a helmet and carrying a warhammer, or whatever it is, looks very much like a mounted officer. I would have thought a man in a pot/morion style helmet, as a pike casualty, would have been a better bet.
That would be a junior officer with a halberd. Used for keeping those less than keen individuals in the ranks and ranks nice and straight :d
Many thanks to our communist friend (another discredited load of old social nonsense so those not in power can get into power by the use of violence, torture and fear - nice) for clearing up that matter and demonstrating that 50% of casualties amongst the ECW infantry were officers. That must surely have pleased the Levellers.
Officers have always been obvious targets, I'm sure.
Easier to fit a halberd on a base than a pike, to be fair. You could always sand off the blades and paint it as a broken pike.
Sounds like Leman got out of bed the wrong side this morning ;)
Cheers

Ian Yes I did and I'm still feeling grumpy, but on a lighter note I've just started a good SYW game down the club this evening. Will take some piccies next week and resolve to be more cheery.
EDIT: Quote fixed.
Rather than start a new thread I thought I would just tack on to this one.
Thanks Pendraken for doing these! Really - thanks!
I love them!
For anyone who sees this buried comment I did a post (with pictures) on my blog a while back that discusses these very markers:

If they are in a queue they proves thier English casualties. If they had been European casualties they would have been in a pile ;D
:D :D us English are very polite
cheers

Unfortunately there are a small minority who don't know about queueing. The other day, whilst waiting for passengers to disembark from a train, a mother and son rushed past me and barged through the disembarking passenger to get on. Knowing looks were exchanged amongst the rest of us.

I was once faced with a mob of people trying to get on the tube as I was getting off, I asked them to move so I could get off and they could get on quicker, but to no avail so I did what was akin to a stage dive into the middle of them. They moved then, and judging from their comments afterwards they were all English.
