Title: Photo of FPW 32 - French line no epaulettes
Post by: Dannyboy on 09 April 2015, 08:56:31 AM
Hi I'm wondering if this figure would be suitable for the Early War WW1 French line, as I'm after a figure with pack etc, does anybody have a pic at hand.

Many thanks

Jon

Not sure so will look on my FPW bucket, but if not will take one and post. For the time being the figures are really only suitable for winter warfare as they are well wrapped up, one of the figures having cloth tied over his kepi and the other wearing a captured Prussian detachable throat warmer. Both in full pack advancing with fixed bayonets. One of the two officer types in the republican pack is wearing a fur coat.

More "retreat from Moscow" than "guns of August", thanks for posting, oh well back to the drawing board on that one. As others have said, excellent painting, well done.
