Hi there,
I would like to have suggestions for mounted Russian and British officers for use with Pendraken Crimean War figures. There must be figures in other 19th-century or even Napoleonic Pendraken ranges that would work, but I'm just guessing. I would be grateful for any guidance on this subject.
Inkerman
And more french for this war also :!!
You can use the Saxon officers in code SA7, and there are also 5 mounted officers in the foot command pack. http://www.pendraken.co.uk/19th-Century-c15/1866-Saxon-sc92/ (http://www.pendraken.co.uk/19th-Century-c15/1866-Saxon-sc92/)
For British, possibly the Prussians from the FPW range? http://www.pendraken.co.uk/19th-Century-c15/1860s70s-PrussianGerman-sc94/ (http://www.pendraken.co.uk/19th-Century-c15/1860s70s-PrussianGerman-sc94/)

I don't think we'll be adding to this range any more, we'd be more likely to start a new range in the future.
Bad news cause it's very interresting this war. :'(
The problem is the English players forget the frenchies was with them and we have a very important army ( battles : Alma, Inkerman.... and in Balaklava if the 4° Chasseurs d'Afrique d'ont come, your light brigade would have a totally destruction).
Thanks, Leon. That's the kind of suggestion I had hoped for. I also noticed in the 2nd Afghan War range a mounted officer with tail coat and cocked hat. As I imagine it, such a figure might well work for British Crimean War command, too. What do you think (having seen those figs)? Thanks again.
The Austrian Generals pack - http://www.pendraken.co.uk/AU16-p3577/ - has a mix of figures in Great coat or Tunic. All have Cocked hats and feather
The Austrian Officers pack - http://www.pendraken.co.uk/AU17-p3578/ - are wearing tunics and the Austrian shako which could probably pass as British officers wearing caps
In both packs all of the horses are galloping

Yes, that one should work well actually.
Thanks again to Shedman and Leon. That's just the sort of guidance I hoped for.
