I went pretty light, but i like some lighter colour for this scale, makes them stand out.

I always consider it a general rule of thumb that the smaller the scale the lighter the shade has to be. :)

I understand a lot of gamers, etc. agree but I don't understand why. In my mind, the colour is the colour. When looking at his troops away in the distance by telescope, does a general say, "Take a note, Carruthers. After this battle, get the troops to lighten the colour of their coats. When they are so far away and look like little soldiers, I think ..."
