Title: Waterloo! (not by me this time)
Post by: Le Manchou on 02 April 2015, 11:03:32 AM
Hello, I found two interesting videos about Waterloo

a video about the new map of cigar box battle representing Waterloo (too small for me unfortunately)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJ3aj72jx2Q

and an interview of Steve Saint-Clair, my hero!

I'd think it would work for any ruleset but its a bit pricey at £73 with the shipping.

Not being an expert on these matters, is it to scale?

Some of the urban areas seem too big. :-\

If you listen to the video he says that they made Hoguemont too big because it played such a big thing in the battle.

Watched it on mute just to see the product.

Interesting approach though; not sure what the history boys will make of that? :)

250,000 figures is a lot of figures. I calculate that, using a rough and ready estimate, the whole lot would have cost him something over £20,000 in bare metal. I take my hat off to him for dedication.

Hopefully that will get over the $40 shipping bump.
