Leon, any chance we can see photos of the Ottoman cavalry codes OT3, OT5, OT7 and the OT 8, 10 and 11 bowman? I am curious if any could potentially be squeezed into representing Crusader era Arabs, turcomans or Byzantines? Same with the bows.
It looks like the OT4 models might be useful for ghulam heavy cavalry with mail, easter helmet or turban, round shield, lance, mace and bow. The feathers would need to be removed but I think it might work. So now I am wondering about the other cavalry codes.
Thanks!
check this out, maybe can help:

Thanks Leon. Looks like the Akinji would work as well if the feathers were removed. Although its looks harder to remove the feathers from the Akinji than the OT4 model.
The Janaissaire bowmen won't work.

Hi Leon, any luck on the Ottoman photos of cavalry and bows? I hope to do another order sometime in September and may pick up some Ottomans if I can fit them into arab or turk crusader period. Thanks!

I like those tartar figures. It looks like the only figures that might fit into the crusader period are the OT4 and OT5 with modification as Ghulams and perhaps the Azab bowmen.
Maybe the tartars as allied Eastern Steppe horsemen. I wonder if those tarter hats were common at all in the 1000-1200s. Thanks again!
I've got an idea that some Turkoman troops may have worn them too.
Those tartars are SUPERB!!!
I must include them in my next order.... mmmmmhhhh.... wow, congratulation to the sculptor!!! Anyway is it possible to know the Nickname or the name of the Trukish range? is just curiosity.

It's the Ottoman Turk range, here: http://www.pendraken.co.uk/Renaissance-c12/16th-C-Ottoman-Turks-sc46/ (http://www.pendraken.co.uk/Renaissance-c12/16th-C-Ottoman-Turks-sc46/)
uuuups yes , I mean to know the name of the ottoman turkish range sculptor?
sorry for the confusion
It's the same sculptor as the SYW/WSS ranges, along with a various other ranges. He's a very quiet chap, so we shall call him Squishy...
Any pictures of the Ottoman chaps with muskets? :-\
