Title: Childhood enthusiasm rekindled by....
Post by: Matt J on 30 March 2015, 02:10:38 PM
and its not the Franco Prussian War...

BLOOD BOWL

My brothers recent return from overseas employment has meant I've started gaming again after 20 odd years and great fun it has been. It also means I've been fitting in some classic Bloodbowl figures in amongst the 10mm stuff. Other than Ratty, these figs are so old Phil might've had a hand in them  ;)

Dark elves with a couple of Marauder miniatures conversions

No Matt...After my time.  :P

Only things I 'made' regarding Bloodbowl were some figures for the 'original' Chaos All Stars....Plus a lot of conversions.

Cheers - Phil (Rather spiffy paint jobs above !!  :-bd)

Cheers guys, got several more teams to do, loving it.

The Chaos Allstars were awesome (I still treasure that WD issue  B)) have you still got them?

I have models for several of the players in that pic (most of my models are from late 80's early 90's). Who's the fat beardy guy conversion (looks like John Blanche)?

If so, they would fetch a bit on Ebay! (Not that you'd want to part with them).  :)

No, Matt.....They're one of the two 'things' I really regret selling.... I think a chap called Tom Anders, who's got his own 'Not Bloodbowl' company, still owns them.
The bearded chap is supposed to be Dale Hurst.....He of Kerr & King fame, who used to be one of the figure painters at the studio, at that time.

I DID get a good price for them, Gareth.......15 years + ago......I bet I'd get more than that now.  :(......Hey Ho !

Cheers - Phil

Ah well; so long as someone's getting some joy from them. ;)

Cant see the piccies as im browsing on my phone but sure theyre magnificent given the owners prowess with a brush!

I must dig out my figures at some stage for some lighthearted gaming!
