Title: Looking forward to the new releases
Post by: cbr3d.com on 29 March 2015, 07:06:39 PM
The Barbarians will hopefully launch in April but no news yet of the progress on the Undead, it will be great though to see how they are resurrected!   (Cheesy I know, I will get my coat.)

From what has been said/indicated it looks like we will enjoy a new Warband army every month!   :D

I wonder when Pendraken are going to start taking on more staff, I mean with the Warband armies and also the BKC launch in the autumn I would imagine the workload at Pendraken will multiply substantially throughout the rest of the year.

I bought a load of the undead though only skeletons  a few years back, and they looked fine

Dark Elves - I think they are due out immediately after the Undead, again something that should prove extremely popular, mind you I think all the armies will.   =P~

Agreed ;)

Come on Matron, get your finger out!* :D

*Common saying "down our way" meaning get on with it.  I'm not implying he's going anything with his finger or anything!*

*That sort of sentence drives FK bonkers which is why I'm going to p'ost mo're of the'm!

Barbarians have arrived safely at Pendraken HQ, so they're being moulded at the moment ready for release.  Next up is the Undead, which Techno is working on at the moment.

Techno - The Undead?

If it is I think everyone would rather you got them right rather than keep to a timetable, take another 5 minutes on them and we will forgive you!   ;)

One particular code of the undead.

So far, the other codes completed have gone quite well, I think/hope.  ;)

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

It's OK, Matt....With a lot of the models, I can almost go onto 'autopilot' as regards to what I need to do...(Still have to concentrate on the putty pushing, of course.)
I'm actually having to really think about what to do with these particular wee chaps.

I'm not used to that !  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Cheers - I've gotta headache. ;)

Phil - surely it is the case that you should leave that particular code aside for 2 days and in the meantime get another 2 factions completed in the sudden free time!   ;)

So is this the last of the Undead and all the others are done already?

Hi Fig.ht.

The code that's giving me a headache is so close to finishing... I'll probably keep going....(But good idea...See below.)

There IS another code that I've already put to one side......I'm waiting for inspiration on that one. *-:)

I think I'm barely half way through the army......But a lot of what's left to do, should be much more straightforward, even though there are still oodles to do.

Cheers - Phil

You know we appreciate it.  But of course, thing is, if you stopped injuring yourself and having to put plasters on, you would have finished by now!   :D

But more ot the point has he managed to get over the sculpting block with the Undead?   :)

(Though as far as self inflicted is concerned, it would have done.)  :D

Don't tell me when Mrs Techno said "does my bum look big in this", You were not listening and just  gave your standard reply of "yes dear"

Should Techno

1) Cut the arm off the figure and reposition it?
2) Cut off his own arm and reattach it?
3) Be supervised at all times by a responsible adult while using sharp implements

:P ;D  :d

Not sure who he is going to get for option 3.  There are none on this Forum.

I don't think even Mrs Techno qualifies on two counts

1 She lives with Phil
2 She is obsessed with 4 legged manure machines

I'll sort something out, Will....But the offer is appreciated.  :)
They're just not easy models to tweak relatively quickly.....I may have to bite the bullet, and half destroy 3 or 4,  then rebuild them.
