Hi all,
A couple of weeks ago I mentioned we had the Blue Meanies in.
I am pleased to tell you we have now received a rating of outstanding in all five categories!
For those not in the teaching game this is a pretty big dear and I am "well chuffed"! :D :D :D
Well done your school!

Thanks Steve. :)
Thing is, now the buggers have gone, I'm teaching better!
Too much stupid stuff for the nosey b@$t@rds! >:(
Help the schools who need help and stop wasting taxpayers money inspecting schools like ours; the data says it all!

Only 8% of schools have grade 1 in all 5 categories!
I actually don't care what they say but, unfortunately, we're judged on it by the public.
Our school deserves it though; we are in a little village just outside Tamworth, very working class and yet manage to attract 1500 students and our results match those of leafy suburbs in Surrey!
HELL YEAH!!! :D

I think the other 94% let themselves down in maths.
Do you get marked down for calling it math?
And if not , why not?
I was wondering why you had been in hiding in the last few days, Grip.
Did your Head Teacher tell you do that?
Seriously, very well done to you and your colleagues!

Actually, this was a couple of weeks ago but we're only allowed to release the results when they've been ratified ;)
Thanks to all for your kind words :)
As we all know, 'outstanding' this year will mean 'ok' next year, and 'total rubbish, sack everyone and demolish the school' in three years time. OFMGPIE - the Office for moving Goal Posts in Education. Also, all the backslapping means the poor bastards down the road are now put under totally unnecessary undue pressure to do even better or be lambasted in the media for doing exactly the same job. OFSTED! Shooting's too bloody good for them.

Couldn't agree more! ;)
On unrelated matters. I bought some duff dice today.
Instead of numbers they had "Oustanding", "Good", "Good", "Requires improvement", "Requires Improvement", "Inadequate".
Think they used to belong to someone in the school inspection line.

Nope, they're far too balanced :D
