Impressive, but what for?
Sailing, it's a bleedin' boat!
Ah, yes, I overlooked that. How silly.
Hornblower, Corunna, Carry on Jack, Quebec.
Pirates!
Arrrr!
You can cream for that.
That is cool, but 50 pounds/$75 is quite a bit...
Every now and again I've given thought to using some Pendraken AWI troops to play out nation vs nation or pirate-type boarding actions. Shibber me timbers.
V/R,
Jack
That would involve rigging! :(
Lemmey,
Sure, rigging would be needed.
I'd rather do rigging than shell out $150 to have two boats to play with... :(
V/R,
Jack
For £50 you get all the cannons and crew as well
*Ahem* I seem to remember writing that Pendraken should produce something like this a few years ago.
My argument went something like "Pleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease oh pleeeeeassse. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'("
HMS Victory was 69m long, a Flower Class Corvette 62m long. Not a huge difference. I must confess I was thinking more of a frigate than a 3rd rate, but there you have it. :>
That's awesome!
really keen on this for my Quebec project, I don't think £50 is too much, especially with crew
Hello All
There is more coming - from Capitan Games http://www.capitangames.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=45 (http://www.capitangames.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=45).
Quotesmall gunboats but with the added bonus of cutters, brigs of war, sloops, corvettes, frigates, Xebecs, and much more to come
Quoteall-new range of 10 mm crew and guns which will all be on show at "Salute" in April with a demo game of the Siege of Rosas
Not much more information, can't even get my forum posts published......and I was on my best behaviour too 8)
Cheers
GrumpyOldMan

That's a 46cm long model... :o I do wonder if things like this could be in MDF, which would bring the costs down massively.
If you could get the curves right and not be too fiddly to assemble MDF would be great. Doubly so if you could set it up so you have access to the interior decks!
I have a 1:150 scale Revell Batavia which I "waterlined". Its about 30cm long and works a treat with 10mm.
Bought it off evil bay for £12!
Bargain ;)
