Last Hussar paints a single officer figure for a first fire marker and several dead markers in matching uniforms for each of his WSS units.
This causes lots of faffing about as he has to find the correct markers for each unit before and during the game and wasted time.
Brilliant, dedicated and insane 8-}
not weird, dedication!!
I do this too! 8)
The issue here is you're asking about weirdness on a wargaming forum...
None of us are exactly your run of the mill dudes and dudesses are we?
I tried being normal once.
Worst two minutes of my life.

And he lives in Runcorn, wow! :o
Big question is, if you don't do this, can you be classed as weird? :-\

Round here, YEP! :D
I'm normal. My daughter-in-law is normal, my eldest is hyper-normal.
The rest of you are weirdos.
Before you listen to his complaint, remember he's the bloke who turns up late, then the second he isn't rolling dice wanders off and has to be retrieved from chatting at another table.
;D ;D ;D ;D

Members of the jury, the defendant is digressing from the question we are here to decide. Which is, is LH Weird?
The normalness of his eldest son or indeed his daughter in law is not in question. Please ignore his rants and strike his comments from the record.
Objection. The defence seeks to establish the weird is a relative term, and Just a few Oiks is unreliable due to his inability to concentrate on the game he is supposed to be playing.
I feel we may have to take out a cease & desist order over Last Hussar's use of the word 'Oiks'.
Cheers - Messrs Sue, Grabbit and Runne

Technodestructorman. (Who has tried being normal...and found it far too boring.)

Objection refused!
Having decalred his son and daughter-in-law to be normal. He is now saying that his relatives are wierd.
I would also point out that he is on this forum at 03:32:57 AM. UK time when normal people would be tucked up in bed, particuarly if they had a good woman/man to be tucked up with. Unless of course they were on a night shift
As LH both works normal days and has a lady I belive to be "a good woman" his frequenting of this forum at this forsaken time in the morning again points to the fact he is weird.

While I am not the one accused here I would like to point out
1 I am only late to club as I come directly from a shift at work that does not end until Club has started.
2 I only wander off after throwing the dice, as there is a delay of 10 mins while LH looks for the right flippin casualty marker.
;D ;D ;D ;D
Cheers - Phil
I wouldn't classify matching markers to units necessarily as "weird". It sounds to me like a jolly good wheeze for obtaining more thinking time as to how to get out of the dangerous mess you've got yourself into. It's the wargaming equivalent of turning the chessboard over. However, I would not recommend turning the wargames table over even as a suicide device. :o
To clarify - when throwing TOO MANY dice.
And you do it while playing Sunjester.
