I was looking through the 20th Pendraken thread last night ( what else are Saturday Nights for?) and noticed a lot of forum members names that used to bequite regular posters on the forum but seem to have disappeared
Not real point to me asking ,except its seems a bit of a shame
You think they stopped posting when someone started nagging for centurions? :P
???
Wha? ... Who? ... Why? ... Wait a minute!
People's interests change - different periods, different scales, different hobbies even.
Their life circumstances change. The get married, get divorced, have kids, have kids leave home, get jobs, lose jobs or retire.
Some, sadly, shuffle of this mortal coil.
I would be more surprised if they were all still posting here.
Maybe some come to realise the forum is like Camelot in "The Holy Grail"
"Tis a silly place." In fact, when I think of the forum bar, I imagine exactly that scene. ;D
Also, maybe some have been committed :D
Advanced aphasia? Some have probably forgotten that last, critical 5% of language skill that keeps xxxx and xxxxxxx posting here.
And some members go to live in the most amazingly beautiful parts of the country - and remove themselves from civilisation and t'internet. Daft buggers (like me).
"The regiment is immortal" and so is the forum (in theory, at least).
Long live the forum!
I intend to die at an advanced age and be found typing a last acerbic message of the forum.
So, another 40 years or so from me. :D

Horrible thought, I'm with the elves on this one.
I choose mortality ;)

Actually, I'm with the elves on this one, they're immortal and move on rather than abandon their immortality. Only soppy Mills & Boon types like Arwen Evenstar trade immortality for the fantasy of romantic love!

Had to check to make sure I was still on the right forum, but then again should have known better, which other wargaming forum would have a thread mentioning 'Mills & Boon'! ;D

Is that after they discovered you were cheating on both of them, beat you half to death and drag your body into the woods to bury you?
:-\ ;D

Actually, I don't want to live forever.
If I could keep functioning the way I do now making a Hundred would be good. After seeing my Dad bedridden for two years and my Mum get Alzhiemers, I would rather "kick the bucket before that"
I'm gonna live forever
I'm gonna learn how to fly
I feel it coming together
People will see me and cry
I'm gonna make it to heaven
Light up the sky like a flame
I'm gonna live forever
Baby, remember my name
:D :D :D
Contradiction on line 5...just saying.
Not a fan of the show then getagrip?
I loved it.
We could do the same...
You're on keyboard, Fenton's the dancer, FSN's the angsty comic. Leon is the dance instructer and FK will drop out after being booed of stage :D
:D :D :D
