That's it ... just jelly.

Proper British jelly or else the incorrectly used American term for jam? :-\

I think there are some "Commander Series" bots from the other forum here ;-)

Used to make vodka Kelly's, with vodka soaked fruits embedded.
5 pints of jelly to 700ml of vodka.
We really like vidglobs!

It's just gotta be jelly, 'cos jam just don't shake like that...

We used to eat the raw cubes as sweets in the '70s. You could only manage one, but times were tough.

Powdered Jelly; how bloody disappointing was that when you tried to raid the cupboards as a kid >:(

Oh, yeah. now you are talking, but I could manage two, three if I could sneak in under my mums radar. Funny, we were talking about that just the other day.

Now I like peanut butter and I like jam, so I thought I'd try that American staple, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Absotively disgusterous! Should carry a government health warning. BLEUCH!!!

Yeah, tried that once.  The two products just don't work together, the sandwich doesn't stick and it's way, WAY too sweet :-&

I love me a good PBJ personally.

Does need to be "jelly" rather than "jam" though - no bits.

Each to their own.

That's not jelly; it's still jam.  Jam without bits.

Ithoriel, I'm amazed you're using Americanisms :o ;) :)

PBJs are American, got to use the appropriate lingo :)

Also "the sandwich doesn't stick" ....  :o  It's a slice of bread coated with peanut butter, a substance so sticky it positively glues itself to the roof of your mouth, and another coated with jam, universally known as a sticky substance, and you can't get them to stick together? What the heck are you doing? Coating the surfaces with WD40!!??  ;)

I love this forum.

The fact I can see a thread called jelly and find a highbrow.......serious......err.....sensible...anyway a discussion about the merits of jelly.

Tripe on the other hand is indeed the spawn of satan in every aspect  :d

Edit: mentioned thread to Mrs V and apparently she doesn't think I'm ready for this jelly. (Emotions ranging from fear she might be making amorous advances to disappointment that I wasn't getting pud when I realised he was quoting a Destinys Child song - gather they were a 90's beat combo popular with the kids)

Its because you can't fit a large enough engine on a Labrador.

Nope. Crisps, nuts, olives, bread, sandwiches, caramel shortbread, dates and chocolate brazil nuts have all been served up by one or other of my various gaming groups over the last year or so. Some wargaming, some board gaming and a couple of rpg sessions.

Must be something in that list to make someone go,"How could you eat <insert item>!?" :)

Staying on topic...just.

Favourite sweets...JELLY BEANS! Love em, love em, love em. Unfortunately last time I ate some I spent most of the late evening yacking them and my dinner. Must try them again soon, but this time in more moderation.

Leon, for gods sake lock this thread.  It is consistently on top of all the other unread stuff, so either start selling jelly, or get rid of this madness.
