Just seen the news that Leonard Nimoy passed away this morning.
Well, at least he lived long and prospered.

Well said
Shame. All the greats are dropping off at an alarming rate.
Shame; did absolutely every schoolboy, in the history of the world, practise the Vulcan hand greeting becuase of him?
Sadly missed. :(
Will be greatly missed "LIVE LONG AND PROSPER" R.I.P :( :(

I forgive him!
I liked him in Mission Impossible (the TV series - not the bottom-water films.)
"By Grabthar's Hammer, by the suns of Warvan, you shall be missed!"
Rest in honoured peace. My childhood role-model.
Many fond memories of both Mission Impossible and Star Trek. He certainly had a good innings.

That's cos we are getting old :(
Beamed up.
:(
I told him not to wear that red shirt.
Star Trek was my first introduction to Sci-Fi back in the '60's as a young kid.
Spock and Scotty were my favorite characters. Spock was the steadfast logical character who could adapt science to solve a situation and poor Scotty was the poor engineer who always had to perform a miracle with the engines or other hardware. They made many of us see space as just 'another frontier' undoubtedly as humans in the past have envisioned the vast seas and oceans of the world.
