Title: getting 1/72 onto a small table
Post by: Norm on 24 February 2015, 07:38:22 PM
I am interested in putting on 1/72 and 28mm gaming into my small space and exploring the possibility of doing larger battles, which might typically see something like 6 to 10 formations per side or some such.

However, in the first instance, tactical WWII is grabbing my interest.

Very good post!!

I have a bunch of the old revell 1/72 stuff lying about, but can't bring myself to paint them just because of the scale difference to my 'regular' stuff. Needing new scenery and finding a place for it is one of my reasons to hold it back.

Will be following this with interest!

Great blog, will be following this with a lot of interest, I too have limited space, hence why I am diving into 10mm but I have always had an interest in 1/72 plastics plus I have a AWI and ECW in 28mm to be used. :-bd

Greetings

While I do have space - on the dining table - for a 6' x 4' board, this tends to be dug out for games when people come over to play i.e. Very occasionally. I am pondering getting a 4' x 3' board (8' x 4' MDF cut down) which would be quicker to set up while still being enough for smaller solo actions in 10mm, be they with SYW, WW2 or whatever.

Regards
