I'm trying to find a game that suitably matches up to Pendraken's zombies and survivors. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas, I'm wanting to play a game with tons of 10mm zeds and lots of shooting and axe-murdering (with friends...). Sorry if this has already been answered, I just couldn't find anything on the forum.
I'll be using Crooked Dice Game Design Studio - 7ombieTV.
Mainly as I can play it solo, without having to create the solo rules myself.
I've not played it yet, but I think it'd be best played between two players and the game doesn't look like it uses lots of zombies.
So probably not what you're after.
I can't be further help, I'm afraid.
I'd be tempted to hash my own together ;)
Never played but read All thingks zombie from two hour wargames.

Could be good.
I was about to suggest the same!

This had already crossed my mind haha...

That definitely looks interesting, I'll add it to the list of possibles ;)
I just bought ATZ with this in mind. I you can get used to handling individual 10mm minis, they look like they'll work. As I now have about a dozen sets of skirmish rules to play in 10mm, it may be some time before I get around to it (meanwhile... 7ombieTV has solo rules, does it...)

I'd also probably make it run with cards similar to DMH...
Would bring a few nasty little twists into the game ;)
I've only heard good things about the twohourwargames rules
7ombieTV's solo rules aren't exactly imaginative, but I suppose when it's the zombies that are the programmed non-player-controlled side they wouldn't be.
Basically, the zombies just move forward towards the survivors. If the survivors fire a gun or the like then more zombies will focus on that specific character.
Solo-played zombies only use the basic zombie troop type or zombie dogs, but they do get 25% more points worth than the player-controlled survivors.
There might be a bit more to it, I've not played them yet and can't remember all of the rules of the top of my head. But that's the gist of it. There is definitely room to add house-rule mechanics for solo play as the rules are really quite simple.

You could do worse than base it loosely on Spacehulk; that played in a similar way :-\
Wouldn't Ambush Alley's Force on Force rules do?
'Western forces' are the survivors, and 'Irregulars' are the zombies?
USE ME zombie dawn
http://www.15mm.co.uk/products/um009-useme-zombie-dawn
Made for 15mm so probably works fine for 10mm (i have the ww2 version and it does work, the ranges are no problem).
I have the chain reaction and swordplay rules from two hour wargames, but haven't played them yet. Chain reaction has the core of the reaction system of two hour wargames, so gives you a good idea of what your getting. i always find they are very 'test' heavy, rolling to many different tests. Of course that's from reading them, haven't tried them out. I understand that the THW titles are made different by the special rules made for the specific setting of the book.
The 7ombieTV programmed moves above look like a bare-bones (so to speak...) version of the ATZ chain reaction rules.
You also have a card driven AI in the deadzone "contagion" expansion, but i doubt very much that would be what you are looking for, because of the way they are sold (in a box togheter with 30 28mm models and scenery, not including the core rules)
Shame, because it would make for a nice game in small spaces. It uses a gridded map.
Just read the small paragraph on solo games of 7ombieTV and what I've wrote previously is correct - except no dogs.
One thing I did think of doing was creating a series of counters to represent blinds, each representing a different number of zombies or zombie dogs.
Ambush Z for me, every time (apart from when I feel like playing ATZ) ;)
Decisive as always eh Nik

Too right.
Or wrong.
I used to be decisive, but now I'm not so...
I'll get my coat. Again.
Or not.
Just bought Zed or Alive from Wargames Vault. Mainly because it was cheap.
Haven't read it yet, but it looks a lot like GWs Necromunda; where you build your gang and buy weapons/equipment. Gain experience and learn new skills.
