Title: WW1 Help AND SCW Help Required.
Post by: Clint on 31 January 2015, 02:01:43 PM
Could the more generous members of the forum be kind enough to answer a couple of questions?

WW1. I am looking to do WW1 ARAB REVOLT.

I am sure there will be more questions later.

Now for a couple of quick Spanish Civil War questions.

What would you all recommend for SCW Medical station? ( Codes WW4 Perhaps or SV33 Perhaps or maybe a different choice altogether?)

I would Like to express my thanks and appreciation in advance. So thank you.

Not a period I'm familiar with so Ill restrict myself to saying hello and welcome to the welcoming, wonderful, weird and wacky world of the Pendraken Forum and to suggesting

Code WW1 in the WW1 Range - Despatch rider with leather coat and flying goggles, five of, for two hundred and sixty of your English pence! They're carefully hidden in the Accessories section of the range listing so I'm not surprised if you haven't found them!

As to the rest, I'll let more knowledgeable minds answer.

Welcome on board :).

There are m/c riders in the Russian and Italian WWII ranges that maybe of use to you as generic dispatch riders. The WWI dispatch rider is rather nice.

WW4 is generally handy - stretcher case, mainly covered with a blanket, upper body is in a shirt - so can be used for pretty much any late 19th to mid-20th century war. The kneeling guy is a bit more WWI looking, but is pretty generic.

There are also some handy tents - I think the WWII British one is the larger one good for an aid station

Welcome to the forum Clint, I can provide a little assistance with the Arab Revolt questions

I have a mix of NW4 Afghan tribesmen, pose 1 and NW5 Afghan tribesmen, pose 2 that I need to paint up as Arabs. The Pendraken team kindly provided al selection of poses with firearms only. Lots of variety.

Not sure for Arab machine gunners.

If you ask nicely the friendly Pendraken team will mix crews and guns so you can get the right gun and suitable crew.

ME25 Irregular Arab Cavalry is unfortunately all one pose and definitely needs something to mix with

Hello Clint

First, welcome to the forum   :),

Rugga Rugga are bare headed so would not really look Arabic.
For Arab machine guns look at the SCW Moroccans, they may fit in:-

Agree with Paulr that Leon will mix guns and crews. SCW Moroccans?:-

Mahdist?

WW1.

The only motorbike I can think of that could stand in for SCW Guardia Assaulto is the new WW1 combination:-

Agree that the WW1 despatch rider is right for SCW.

The Truck could make a good ambulance:-

A Big Thank you to everyone for the welcome and the ideas/assistance. There really does seem to be enough in the different ranges to flesh out an Arab Revolt army. So I will start to crack on with it in the next few months on the run up to Salute!

Cheers Guys.
