Hi All,
I'm in Australia, Play, paint & collect 28mm and 15mm mainly 17th-18th century. I've promised myself not to start another scale but the more time I spend on the Pendraken site & Forums I can't see how it's possible to avoid re-starting 10mm. Yes, I have Warmaster Fantasy & Warmaster Ancients painted many years ago, I really like the Pendraken lines and looks like I will be going back to 10mm.
Cheers,
Jez

Hi Jez

Welcome to the forum.
Hi Bruce...

Good morning Jez, or may I call you Jez?
Throw away those 28mm monstrosities! Replace them with the scale of Gentlemen. There's a great range of C17-C18 stuff here. The LoA is due to have the little known "Westphalian Company of Drunkards" added and the long awaited "Dragoons who think they may have left the gas on" is in moulding I believe.
Though as a person in the antipodes, I'm sure you'll be interested in the Centurion? Very distinguished usage in the Australian army.
Welcome anyway.
Warm welcome, Jez.
Welcome Jez,
this is a great forum, with the best welcome, I ever received!
Have fun here.
Cheers
Welcome Jez :)

I'm afraid I'm in far too deep to stop with 28mm. I have to admit that the thought of starting the WSS in yet a 3rd scale is a little terrifying :-SS but I'm looking forward to it.

Have a look around this Forum. Battles with three times the number of 10mm troops that you could ever field in 28mm. The prices of Pendraken are sooooo reasonable that you could easily replace those nasty big things for quite a small outlay. Looks three times as good. It's never too late to pull away from 28mm. We can help you, just think of this forum as a sort of "28mm Anonymous". Most of us have been in the same place, but we got our act together. I've been 28mm Free for three years now, and never felt better.
A dozen 28mm figures, however well painted, don't give the same sense of a unit as thirty or forty 10 mils.
Welcome to the forum, Jez.
28mm should be very prettily painted and put on the bookcase.
