We kept him busy while we were packing for the show, by giving him a couple of figures to paint!

Having a painting session with my 5 yo on Monday.
Not dreading it quite so much now.
That boy seems to have some talent they're better than what some adults put out as their 'best work yet'.
Well done that lad.
yey ;D
Well done him ;D ;D ;D
Yes indeed - very nice 8)
Well done young man ;D
Now keep him away from drink and women for the next few years, let him practice some more and you will have your very own painting slave. Imagine, every figure you produced painted for display 8)

I might be able to keep him away from drink and women, but I've got no chance when it comes to Mario Kart...
;D
Have always been against the idea of kids, but I am starting to see a point to them ;D

You know when you've just sat down, drink in one hand, snack in the other, all comfy, ready to put your favourite programme on the TV? And you see that the TV remote is at the other end of the room? Well, that's what kids are for...
;D
;D ;D ;D :P
Nice work little J! :-bd
Yep Really nice work!, I love the Red Tongue of the wolf

They're really quite good. Especially for a child.
My 4 year old had a go at some Perry archers over the summer - might try and get some pictures. As they were in interesting colour schemes.
Does that sound really patronising? Sorry if it does.

Not at all!
He really enjoys doing them, I'll have a root about and see what I can give him next time. Maybe the Mummy holding a teddy bear!
We live, eat, dream wargaming!- but to force a child into painting your figures, its just wrong!!
;D
however I have asked my mother, who is now retired and bored at home with nothing to do, to take up a new hobby- like painting 10mm Napoleonic Russians for instance.
:-[ :-[ :-[
Good work- bless him
My 6y old daughter painted a few warlord celts and a GW marine, but insisted they all wear pink.
