Post by: KTravlos on 20 January 2015, 07:40:57 PM
Good day to all

I just wanted to recommend to all of you the Continental War Society and its excellent newsletter "Foreign Correspondent". Tons of interesting and useful info for the big and the samll wars of the 19th century.

With Respect

I have found that the easiest way to get a hold of them is to email Bob Burke at burker1@aol.com.

It's a really good bargain, and they can let you buy the CD of the earlier issues, which are a treasure trove.
Even better, they have no AGMs so lawyers cannot waste everyone's time fiddling with the Constitution of the Society.

I think that's for USA only; for UK based enthusiasts write to Ralph Weaver.

They seem to want to keep a low profile. I didn't think it existed any more it's been that long since I've heard of them.

Cheers Bob

The main activity where they come together is at Salute in April, and it is a very good opportunity to meet the other members and sign up to membership if you attend.
