Hi everyone,
My name is Vincent, come from south of France, i'm working on 28 mm and 10 mm fantasy, obviously warmaster is my main hobby for 2 years but i play and collect WBF since 1995.
Happy to be with you now.
cheers
A very warm welcome, Vincent.
Cheers - Phil
So you're the one responsible for keeping GW going.
Bienvenue Vincent, I'm a 10mm WM man myself, im pretty new here too, very helpful forum
Hiya and welcome.
MORE foriegners !!!!
Hi and Welcome
IanS
Hi Vincent
Welcome to the forum. I think you have joined just in time before Games Workshop dissapears from the world.
Ignore IanRs' quote about foriegners. He is from Liverpool, and they are very insular - mainly beacuse no one in their right mind goes there. :) So any one who does not have a Liverpudlian accent is a foriegner

Hi and Welcome
IanS
You do realise thats two French members in a row. Well Jerome was Corsican but to the english thats close enough!
Welcome Vincent
Hope you enjoy the forum
A lot of people here collect and play 10mm fantasy
Be nice to see some picture of your work if you get a chance
Hi Vincent, welcome to the forum.
I think it might be a good idea to stop remarking on new forum members being foreigners, even in jest. I've noted that the French press is now commenting a lot on anti European feeling that appears to be on the increase in Britain, and I think it gives the wrong impression of this very open forum.
Thanks everybody for this warm welcome, i m glad to be here.
And np ians i'm a foreigner but i try my best to speak English ;)
I'm very rarely serious....
IanS
Still way better than my French, n'est pas?
Salut Vincent.
I'm from Marseille, but don't live there any more.
Yann
Hi mocchus, welcome to the Forum!

Warm welcome, Vincent!
We're all foreigners here. Unless, of course, you happen to reside at Pendraken HQ. It's the World Wide Web, after all. Belongs to everyone and nobody can claim ownership.
Meanwhile, Scotland looks forward to finding out what's happening in the South of France!

Very sunny today :D and not at all cold.
When I lived in London I used to complain about the slight drop in temperature when I visited 'Up North'. Now from where I am, 'Up North' appears tranquil compared to the scary floods and heavy snows 'Down South'.
I dont think its got above 3C all week here...getting fed up with it now
Welcome on board Vincent :).
Bonjour Vincent.
I always am in awe of the French and how good you English skills are as a nation, there is no way I would ever be that good at French. :)
Welcome Mocchus.
As a senior and valued member of the Forum, I can assure you that we pride ourselves on being a friendly and well informed lot. Some of 'em can actually paint very well - not me - old war wound y'know. However, you can expect any thread to dissolve into chaos within 24 hours, or when I see. Whichever comes first.
You'll soon get to know the unruly element. I have a list of their names, and only associate with them - just to keep 'em in check.
Anyway. Welcome. I don't care if you're French or Turkish or half and half. Your religious political and sporting affiliations are none of my concern - but you shop at Games Workshop? Frightfully bad form Old Chap. Like passing the port to the right.
There you go Vincent, an example of how this forum goes off topic with amazing regularity:
<Hello, I'm from France.>
<Really, it's a lot colder here.>
<Brass monkeys in fact.>
<An old naval saying I believe.>
<Could murder a tot of rum.>
<My dad was in the navy and he used to barter his rum ration for cigarettes,>
<Smoking is a filthy habit, however I do have a marvellous idea for producing smoke markers of an oily nature for destroyed tanks.>
<......did somebody mention France?>
Bonjour and bienvenue, Vincent.
Sorry to read you like Fantasy. I am only interested in wargaming related to 'real life' ... you know .... Historical, Lord of the Rings ........
'Allo 'allo, it's in code.
;D ;D
ok i think i understand most all of you wrote, and i hope you understand what i m writing, the community is very reactive and a bit crazy, it s great.
I spend must of my time on warmaster-fr, i saw many of us here :)

I think he's saying your nuts Leman/DP
Bonjour et bienvenu, Vincent. Comment ca va?
OK that's about the limit of my schoolboy French :)
I'd tell you that the forum is by turns friendly, informative and lunatic .... but you've probably gathered that already from the rest of this thread.
I played a lot of Warmaster a while back, even wrote some stuff for the magazine, but these days I play mainly Blitzkreig Commander 2 which is based on the same mechanisms.
I hope to see some photos of your figures at some point.

Honest. I didn't mention his nuts at all! :o ^#(^
Thank god I didn't change my nomenclature to Buster Gonad.

What's this thread supposed to be about ?....I've got lost after just 2 pages. ;)

Plug the sat nav in Phil....

Welcome, Vincent. The French connection to this forum seems to be increasing daily. In fact, the non-UK contingent of our membership provides a healthy proportion of the total. We are, as you may have gathered, a global village. So, welcome again.
Ignore this.
Are you sure you're in the right thread here, FK? :-\
Oops. That was for the leman thread.
