Thats me from when I did the my 10mm Early Imperial Romans

I have 30 Legionaries or 24 auxilia to a warmaster unit.  I stupidly thought I would use VVV decals for the shields on just the front rows, then paint a quick reseblance on the rear rank .  THe difference was so obvious I ended up applying decals to every shield in the 2000 point Warmaster army OVER 500 of them.

You get quite quick in the end.

This is why I avoid decals :D

Although these days I might have the patience to manage them :)
