I will be using my own rules for Medieval (Mongol period) and a friends set written in the 1970's for 5/6mm Napoleonic. For any other periods I will have a go at other rules and if I don't like them I go and write my own.

I play my own "rules". They're more guidelines, 'cos I'm a solo.

sounds cool. when you mix or change rules is it to be more realistic or more fun usually?
