Now that is what I call a close call. My Christmas present from my good lady arrived yesterday. I walked up the track to meet the postman to save him walking all of the way down and he didn't have the expected parcel... I was very grown up about it and went into the shed to cut up some wood for the fire. Thankfully my sobbing was masked by the saw.
Then I heard a voice...drying my eyes I went out to find the postie stood there.... evidently he had dropped it in the back of the van when he was moving stuff around.
Phew... it is now wrapped and hidden from my prying eyes.
Not sure how it took so long it was dispatched ages ago ... parcels come on the ferries so no doubt with the disruptions to service we have been having it has bobbed around in the North sea for a good while...probably been to Orkney and back a few times (the boat never got as far as Shetland)
Wishing everyone a super Pendrakenmass and hope you get what you want in your stockings.....

It's the Shetland effect, Can make bards of us all. :D
We How have bards in the bog.. thankfully poems on the back of the door rather than some poet stood in there. Gives you someething to read when you have forgotten your magazine of choice.
