Great report.
Like the final comments, definitely some British cruisers or Vickers MkVI would be fab.

I know, but craig and I are struggling to find time to meet up. If not so form of solo outing again may be in order... :-\

Yep - a disproportionate amount of time playing with ourselves rather than each other.

Try to avoid reading stuff like this; just makes me want to buy into another system / period / genre etc etc.
