QuoteSolstice on the 21st

Happy Solstice, that's the important one,  even with January stretching away into the distance walking the dog in the morning feels like it's getting lighter, even though its three or four weeks before there is an apreciable difference.

"Pendraken Xmas Everyone"

Peeeendraaaakeeeeeen!!!

Are you hanging up a stocking on your wall
It's the time Pendraken sculptors have a ball
Is he mucking out the reindeer?
Has his ceiling given way?
Can the fairies keep them sober for a day?

[Chorus:]
So here it is, Pendraken Parcel
Packs of shiny metal fun!
Look to the forum now
The painting's just begun!

Are you waiting for opponents to arrive?
Are you sure you've got the table space per side?
Does your best mate always tell you
That the old games are the best
Then they've got the dice a-rolling with the rest!

[Chorus:]
So here it is, Pendraken Parcel
Packs of shiny metal fun!
Look to the forum now
The painting's just begun!

What did young Leon do
When he saw your parcel missing in the post?
Aaah ah aaah aahh

Are you hanging up a paint chart on your wall?
Are you hoping that the price of lead will fall?
Do your troops race down the hillside
On a chariot you've made
Then wind up being dead
And you've been 'Slayed!'

[Chorus:]
So here it is, Pendraken Parcel
Packs of shiny metal fun!
Look to the forum now
The painting's just begun!
So here it is, Pendraken Parcel
Packs of shiny metal fun!
Look to the forum now
The painting's just begun!

[Chorus:]
So here it is, Pendraken Parcel
Packs of shiny metal fun!
Look to the forum now
The painting's just begun!
So here it is, Pendraken Parcel
Packs of shiny metal fun!
Look to the forum now
All the best to everyone!

He's done a couple of albums - they are *very* metal! I'm past the days of really enjoying exceptionally shouty metal (although Motorhead were awesome the other week), but they're actually pretty good if you like that sort of thing.

Anyway, derailing this thread now, so - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hVEdE0O5tA (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hVEdE0O5tA)
