Post by: wurrukatte on 07 December 2014, 02:23:21 PM
Afternoon (dependant of course upon your geographical location) All

Looking to add some variation to my Prussian Jagers.
Are there any other figure codes that could be used for
rear supporting coys.

many thanks

Have you tried the WWI jagers? The uniforms are almost identical.

The webbing will be different and the WW1 examples may have the blanket roll/greatcoat wrapped around the pack. Depends how fussy you are, I suppose.

Hello DP sir,

thanks for the steer towards the WW1 jagers but the images of them on this forum indicate they are the same poses
as those on PPW13 (one bloke running, one bloke kneeling shooting. (curses foiled again).

Does anyone know if the SHG 2 jagers from the 1st Schleswig-Holstein German/Prussian range are compatible/and striking
a differing pose.

And if all fails there is of course the nude Amazons, option appreciated.

Prussian jager wore the spiked pikelhaub in the First Schleswig War. The Schleswig jager wore a shako but it was more like the British Albert Shako and had a massive plume. They also did not wear trousers tucked into boots. Can only suggest you try head swaps unless you look at Magister Militum's 10mm 1870 jager. Think there may only be one advancing pose for that.
