Well it came as a bit of a pleasant surprise this evening when I realised that my Dervish force is now down to this many left to paint:

I have a set of Mounted and dismounted camel corps, 3 gatling guns and 4 sitting camel bases left to start and then 7 bases of British infantry to finish
and that is pretty much it.....
Well done that man =D>

They do indeed look good , however if I got them and some Sikhs (which I would quite like) I would then have to buy some more Dervish to compensate for the added firepower and by the end my dervish army would be 'Thasands' strong.
obviously I don't have to field the full Anglo Egyptian force as If I did the Dervish are pretty well stuffed. I really wanted 3:1 or 4:1 odds and it has ended up 1.5: 2.5...
We will see how my new rules pan out but after a few games they seem to be holding up under the pressure.
They look very nice to me.
I'm slowly working out a games-mastered campaign which will involve some extremely unbalanced scenarios both ways.
If it's of any interest, Warlord Games are releasing 'Death on the Nile' supplement soon (as if in the next week-allegedly).

I ordered it when I thought I was going to be getting Black Powder rules.
