Title: FPW 1870-71: Prussian inf 'pointy' end collars
Post by: LondonPete51 on 21 November 2014, 04:56:45 PM
Good Afternoon folks,

Currently painting some Pendraken Prussian infantry which seem to be coming on a treat! 8)

However, I have noticed that they seem to be sporting collars with pointed ends (sorry but have forgotten the official term for this collar type! :'(). I think the overcoat had this type of collar but reference books appear to show rounded collars for the actual uniform?

Am I getting this wrong? :-\

Peter

Really?
I've never noticed that detail before, but then I tend to block the collers in anyway!
