Any of the Osprey Campaign series.
I have Saratoga (67) and New York, both are very good.
Their other uniform guides are okay. The British Army In North American (Men-at-Arms 39) and General Washington's Army 1 & 2 are decent (273 & 290 respectivly).
Warrior 68 Continentals Infantryman of the American revolution is a very detailed read of life and equipment

The old Blandford Colour Series Uniforms of the American Revolution is pretty good and has a lot of fine detail points in it.
