Title: Spain 11th -14th century
Post by: rogernnqp on 05 August 2010, 09:18:12 PM
Hello all
I'm normally hang around most of the 19th century unless the mood takes me then I return to my very large 5/6mm Pike & Shot collection which is being reconstituted for the Italian Wars.
My wife, bless her, bought me the Osprey Book 'El Cid & The Reconquista' - of course new armies beckon.
Can anyone suggest the best Pendraken ranges to use to build up..gee any army of that era.

Thanks
Roger

The early medieval stuff, Normans from the dark ages, Arabs simialr, and some of the Madhist figures should do the job. From memory the Cid is early 11th century. may havve had round rather than kite shaped shields, but ignore the film, the armour in that is way latter.
