I probably won't see the end of that, then. :D

No point you watching then

I saw something earlier this year about an English Cathedral and how quickly it was put up in the 14th Century, only took 78 years apparently

This crew always do interesting things, I presume the 25 years will be for the overall project with the English only coming in for part of it

It's in France.  UK health and safety would shut the site down ;)

Now I know how they made 20,000 crossbow bolts!

Excellent series! Have a look at the related links on this page:

It's a French project involving unemployed learning practical skills - like castle-building!

I know there was some movie magic, but a chap turned up with a bundle of logs and a axe - to be fair two axes and biff, baff, bouff - a grain chest with reversible lid for rolling dough. This display of craftsmanship and skill made me think "bastard!"

I get the same feeling looking at some of the posts on this forum come to think of it.

It's a horrible thing to be so jealous.

I thought that was just a perfectly normal human trait.  :-\

Nothing about Nobby shows "normal human traits" - :D Take his insatialble lust for Centurion tanks for instance.  (I did initiall type " like Nobbys insatiable lust for Centurions" but thought that might suggest that Nobby lusted after men in ancient Roman uniform.  :d
