Title: Next Project?
Post by: Nosher on 10 November 2014, 09:36:17 AM
I've been reviewing whats still to be done in terms of my lead pile and I'm undecided about what to do next while I'm still in a painting mojo.

Votes 2 per person. Open for 7 days. Results at end.

Though I think colonial battles are better in 10mm; tried 6mm once, didn't find it satisfying.

I went for the Romano-Brits but to be honest I think it depends on what you did last, i.e. a change is as good as a rest.

More Naps Austrian and French it is followed by SCW for CoC.

I have dug out the PR British and even though its a small army its just not floating my boat. I cant see Dux Britannarium being much fun solo.... :(

Now I like Romano-Brits and I like Dux Britanniarum but there's nothing worse than painting figures that are not grabbing you. Think what you can do solo that really interests you and forget what the forum says.

True DP, and whilst my mojo is in full swing I need to maximise my chances of finishing things.

I need another force to take on my CoC Krauts so have done some base colours on a single US Infantryman and am quite pleased with the results so I think I'll be ploughing through those in between more French and Austrian Napoleonics.

I didn't vote because Mongols weren't on the list.

Have to laugh though: "What should I paint folks?'

'10mm post-Romano Britons - they got the most votes.'

'Right then, 28mm US COC it is then, as they got precisely no votes.'   ;D ;D ;D

Democracy/Politics in action.

Listen to the people and do the opposite. I'm also considering running for local government and with this track record should be in with a shout :D

"Friendly at Hackney, faithless at Whitehall." Alexander Pope remains the most illuminating of all poets on the subject of human behaviour. Well, in the lingoes I can read, anyway.
