I don't subscribe to any and tend to buy issues that have articles of interest to me. Having said that, I find WS&S to be ahead of the competition consistently.

WS&S for me. Currently subscribe to WI have done since issue 1 but suspect I won't renew it become a bit lite for my taste. Don't mind the FoW stuff generally as have the nouse to convert to other systems. Dropped MW a while back as had to choose just one and WI won at the time. It'sgot bbetter under Henry though.

WS&S is the only magazine I go out of my way to buy. It seems to be the only one around that doesn't have an axe to grind or present itself pompously. The only other mag I get is the ACW Gamer ezine.

It I can ever get hold of it, a must buy is a French magazine entitled 'Tradition', especially good on 1st and 2nd Empire, but of late was a bit ACW heavy...

I agree that I only buy magazines that have articles of interest to me. however with the closure, in September. of the local newsagent which stocked WI, MW and WS&S there is no local shop whicj stocks any of them so may have to consider a subscription to pne but which one?
