Title: Elizabethan range.
Post by: YORSTONS on 22 October 2014, 08:16:11 PM
I seem to recall mention of additions to this range, is this still the case? Will the range be expanded, some artillery would be good. Please :)

Phil's been working with a customer to add some new figures/codes to the range, but it's a little down the line at the moment.  We need to get everything moulded up and checked over first, then we'd need to supply the customer with his figures and then they'd go on general release.  So, we're talking well into 2015 for a Pendraken release of them I'd think.

There are suitable guns in the late medieval range, aren't there?

I'm doing a coaching course at the moment. The chappie nominally in charge showed us this relaxation technique that takes your mind through the Beta, into the Alpha and possibly in the Theta zone. Total relaxation. Drifting away. Letting the mind wander and totally relax. It involved darkness, music (he played the wrong one which totally ruined the exercise for me.) and a soothing voice. The chappie suggested that you could do this whilst driving. To me that sounded rather reckless.

Sounds a bit like what they taught us at cardiac rehab. Soft music and gentle voice telling you to relax, starting with the toes and then working up through the body. I never mastered relaxing the ears, though.

There's all sorts in there to be honest, they keep arriving in little boxes from Phil, so I'm not entirely sure exactly what's there at the moment!

They've actually been master moulded and I've been spinning them off recently.  Can you pop me an email to let me know how many you need?

Favorite unit of the Boxer Rebellion - the German Marine Horse Artillery.

... and no, they didn't use sea-horses.

I'd reply to your signature, FSN....But as you'll change it in the next few hours/days, it won't make the slightest sense in the future.  :P :D

I think it was Neddy Seagoon who served in the 1st Heavy Underwater Artillery.

No, I'm sure Bloodnok was in the 3rd Regular Army Deserters.

So he says....
Title: Re: Elizabethan range.
Post by: Duke Speedy of Leighton on 30 October 2014, 10:02:31 AM
He introduces himself in "Napoleon's Piano" as "Major Denis Bloodnok, late of the 3rd Disgusting Fusiliers OBE, MT, MT and MT." Seagoon questioned him on the MT's, to which Bloodnok responded "I get tuppence on each of them" (MT's meaning "empties", as in empty bottles). Also said to be a former member of the 3rd Mounted NAAFI, and the 3rd Regular Army Deserters. In "The Mummified Priest", when Seagoon explains that he has come to Egypt to look for the tomb of a priest belonging to the third or fourth dynasties, Bloodnok replies, "Fourth Dynasties? My old regiment!" He has also claimed to have been in the 3rd Heavy Nudists ("Oh, what a cap badge they had!").[1] It is possible that he was at one time a member of a cavalry regiment: Roper's Light Horse are mentioned in more than one episode.
