After lurking on several other forums I have now found myself here. The fact that I am currently painting Pendraken Romans and Britons sort of pushed me here but it also looks like a fun, friendly forum.
Hi
IanS
Welcome aboard
Ian
Hello there!😀
Welcome aboard, Bodvoc.
Welcome aboard.
Yes, it is a great deal of fun, lots of friendly advice available, and a range of figures where there are often alternatives that can be used from one of the other ranges, eg some of the Dacians make good Celts.
What rules set are you preparing your little guys for? Warmaster and Hail Caesar are pretty popular ...
Thanks for the friendly welcome everyone. My gaming chums and I are basing the Romans and Britons up using Warmaster basing but will use Hail Caesar rules, hoping for a 1st game next Tuesday. I have also done a bit of Impetus recently and enjoyed that so 4 warmaster bases could make a good Impetus unit.
Wotcha from me as well.
Hi Bodvoc, welcome to the Forum!

Hello Mr Bodvoc,
May I add my welcome to the forum. There are two types of forum member. There are those who are witty, erudite, paint like dreams and can recite the battles of Gustavus Adolphus in order as home, away or score draw.
Then there's me.

Oh, and a very warm welcome!
Welcome on board Bodvoc :).
If you're painting Romans, Bodvoc, you may want to talk to FSN about centurions. ;D ;D
Green, or sometimes green and black. But mostly green. :D

Which is probably why it's mainly green.....

Hi Bodvoc
Welcome
You will soon be up to speed with the in jokes. FSN has an unhealthy and quite possibly unnatural affection for Centurion Tanks.
