Any more news on the French Command Ranges? Personalities? Marshals, Div/Bde command and ADC's?
My french feel a bit leaderless which will just not do!
I'm hoping that we won't have to wait any longer than Christmas for the three French 'personalities'. I'd like to see if 'Ney' can stand in for a relevant 1809er. Ney and Davout are a curious choice as they didn't command together in either 1809 or 1815. French ADCs are an easy conversion as one of the French hussars has been sculpted without the necessary carbine. The hilt end of his scabbard is hidden so all you have to do is slice off his sword and replace it with written orders, which can be scrunched up in a blob of a new hand.

They're in the queue but everything's backed up at the moment. We'll be concentrating on the Brits first, but if we can squeeze the French Command into one of those moulds that'll be a nice bonus.

5th Columnists!
At a slight tangent to the subject matter at hand. As a new guy to the forum, forgive me if this has already been discussed and answered. It was just that the absence of cords on the drummer's drums in the Napoleonic Command packs struck me as odd. I know the SYW range drummers have them and the new ACW drummers have them.....:-B :-/
Don't think it has ever been discussed. I just thought it was a design decision. Easier to sculpt and to paint. Seeing the ACW drummer sculpted by the same sculptor seems a bit like Naps have been short changed for no reason.
Maybe they wanted to offer something with no strings attached.
=O

:D
I just painted a MM Austrian drummer. Big difference was painting those cords.
Hi, Wee Wars. Would like to see that (will it be on your blog?). :)

Definitely, some time soon. I painted a few MM figures to mix in with a Pendraken unit.
