Hi all,
Great to be on the forum.. I am reading the forum for a couple of years now and impressed by the painting skills people show on these small soldiers. I started painting pendraken when the 1809 range started and already painted a couple of french and austrian troops. Pics will come later when I find out how that works..
To Leon and team, keep up the good work, and I need some french howitzers, caissons, charging cuirassiers, loading french and austrian infantry, and more time... ;)

Not yet but maybe I should check it some time. To me historical wargaming looks pretty underground (except for fow and 40k stuff) although I know there must still be a lot of people playing historical wargames.. But it could be me not knowing the right people here :-\
Besides time with kids is short.. So I am creating my own wargamers... And learn them my rules ;D. Only downside is that my son loves spacemarines instead of our heroic forefathers... So Leon, do you have french infantry with shoulderpads en bolters in the pipeline?
Depending where you are in the Netherlands it might be worth trying to get to Crisis in Antwerp if you can. I think its on in November
Yep, I'm going to Antwerp this year... Looks like a great show there with lots of traders and games so must be lots of fun. Besides, I need some more mini's and want to look at some other periods too..
Rogier - you need time?? YOU NEED METAL, don't worry about time.
Hi Rogier!

Nice discussion... I never doubted the bravery of dutch troops though, maybe because I read some dutch written books about waterloo.. ;) nice thing is that one of my great great grandfathers went to Russia with napoleon and got back too only losing an ear. Historically, it's like winning the lottery... After that the belgians revolted, he 'borrowed' a horse and desterted... The shame :-[
Hi Rogier. Welcome to the forum. :)
Hi, welcome, Looking forward to seeing your French / Austrian 1809 armies, I recently bought the same pair.
Welcome, Rogier :)

The scary bit is that I'm now waiting to find out if Rogier is from south east Holland near Cuijk :-\
And I don't speak Dutch and didn't use Google translation :o
