Today I have received part of an order of WWI Austrian and I am aghast to the sight of the dragons... helmet with the horse tails?
Do you tell me from where you have drawn your uniformology sources?
From the raupenhelm (179...) in it is not never then sight a tail of any type attached to a helmet of AUSTRIAN cavalry .
If you don't have uniformology information of any period, I think that among all those interested to your ranges you will find of sure (me inclusive) someone prepared gladly to document you.
I hope not to receive an answer like that post of mine respect the Austrian shako in 1809.
sorry for my bad English.
NOW I CUT THE TAIL S!
Walter
To be honest, your English is very good.
Thanks for the post, the original WWI packs were sculpted over 10 years ago now so we couldn't say which reference material the designer has used unfortunately. These particular figures are on the list to be revamped as we move forward with our extension of the WWI ranges.
Do you know how much dragons cost to maintain (hoards of gold, princesses, devastated towns, dwarf refugees)?
;)
Golem, you will notice over time that FierceKitty is very good at noting minor errors of spelling and/or grammar.
Sometimes he overlooks important items in the larger picture ;)
Dragons are hard to overlook, or so I'm told.
To be honest I was a bit miffed when my Austrian dragoons turned up looking very French, but the scalpel sorted that. Similarly the uhlans need their lances removing as the Austrian army phased them out in the 1880s:

Sorry to kind of hijack but where did you get that car in the picture? I got to get one of those!!!
I'm assuming it's
ME21 - Open Tourer
from the WW1 Middle East range.
If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will jump in to say so!
That car is so good I was trying to look though the windscreen.
It is indeed ME21.
You can actually see through the windscreen ... really :o
