As my collection of Prussians has started to expand at last I will post some photos of un its and then the army as it now stands;

They seem to have hit the spot. Thanks all. Incidentally the cloth is the faux mink throw that was talked about a couple of years ago, available from Amazon. I took advantage of the good weather, threw it over the washing line and gave the short tufted lime green side some random bursts of a darker green and a sand spray of matt acrylics.
Very nice set-up, DP, the throw really sets-off the figures. Are they Fat Frank's roads you're using?
Very similar; they are in fact some Old Glory 15mm roads I bought over 20 years ago. I think that settles the question of how well flexible rubber roads take acrylic paint. At the time most of my paints were by Colour Party. When Vallejo came along I was able to buy them locally (and still can, as Liverpool has one of the country's major model railway suppliers).
Those Prussians are most definitely a lean, mean fighting machine. Very nicely done and the wash works a treat. Like the cloth as well.
Will you be painting any opposition?
Already produced the Austrians, but been a bit lazy with the Prussians as one of my opponenbts has a Prussian army. However, I want my own Prussian army as he is not a club member. I will also start a Russian army once the Prussians are finished, by which time the Ottomans should be available. Will then be able to host four way campaigns. Here is a shot of some of the Austrians.
Guess who hit the wronf button? :-[

Oooh.....Ooooh ....Me, sir.....I know !
And how come it's taken almost three years to post the piccy ? :D ;)
Cheers - Phil
Very nice indeed ;)
I love the cloth. Might have to try that myself. Kicking myself now as I threw out some almost empty cans of spray paint I never thought I'd use #-o
The three year gap - it was the first time we had tried out Black Powder, The Last Argument of Kings, down the club. Some different photos from this game have been posted previously, but I chose this one today because I don't think it's been up before.

And there was me thinking you'd not set the date on the camera correctly the last time the battery died. ;)

Top-notch 8)
