Vallejo Olive Green is an excellent darkish mid-green. I have used it for French Chasseurs-a-cheval in 1870. I have had mine for some years so it is old code 850.

Bear in mind that if you're painting jagers in the early uniform, they wore a very much lighter leaf-green colour.

You posted this a little time ago, so this may be also late it coming (I've recently joined the forum); Vallejo Heavy Black Green would be ideal. Not only is it the right colour but it's an extra opaque (pigment rich) meaning it's covers really well with one coat and is a joy to use.
