Nicely done - those are some big forces! 8)
Any chance you can give us the low-down on codes you've used for this? Looks like you've mixed & matched nicely from across the ranges...
Nice report! 8)
Interesting report ;)
Interesting looking battle.

Cheers - Phil
Nice looking battle in a rarely seen period. Interesting use of BKC for the Russo-Jap War, but it obviously works.
Always had a soft spot for the RJW -if you know what I mean. A visually great looking game with well painted figures complemented with some nice looking terrain pieces. I like the way you represent trenches, is it triangular beading?
Thanks for the comments

@Subedai
the trenches were made specifically for me by my tame resin sculptor - see my blog at http://twomarshals.blogspot.co.uk/2011/12/10mm-trenches.html (http://twomarshals.blogspot.co.uk/2011/12/10mm-trenches.html)

Thanks for the AAR. A nice mix of figures used for your armies.
Alan - that's really helpful, thank you!
With all the (genuinely) helpful advice I've had on my thinking for Italian Wars lists, I'm now thoroughly uncertain - so might just fast forwards half-a-millenium & do this... ;) ;D

I know you like BKC Nic but GWSH2 has some nice RJW army lists
Cool - but now you're trying to confuse me with more rulesets ;)
I was thinking more of the army lists that could be converted across to BKC rather than the rules
Ah - cool, gotcha :)
Thanks for that link to the trenches bit. Interesting.
