Post by: Subedai on 16 August 2014, 07:33:56 PM
If ever you have though of doing Sekigahara or have a general interest in the Samurai then these are not to be missed. I think the bloke has done an amazing job.

For general samurai info of the time:

One day I WILL paint that Samurai army that I bought for my son when it looked like he might get interested in wargaming. He was also learning Japanese at the time. Then music and French took over.

I'm the same. I have an Irregular 6mm army that I've had for donkeys. It's been undercoated but I reckon I'll have to start from scratch with it. Shedloads of strips as well. Too busy painting stuff for the Mongol Project to do anything else as yet. But I have plans...(mwah, mwah!)

Those are amazingly cool! 8)
Two units of Samurai horse in 10mm on the painting table right now, plus arqubusiers. A boosted Early 16th Century Samuari pack basically...
Decided to buy them as opposition to my Mongols in the great sale earlier this year.

Actually, I'm planning to do Japanese these afternoon, as it happens. But Sekigahara really needs to be a multiple-player campaign with secret agendas, I think.
