Howdy folks,
I recently purchased my Late War French including a set of the F28 'Infantry in helmet, marching' and was slightly dissapointed that they weren't carrying the typical stacked backpacks that we all now from photographs from French troops on the march...
Now I was wondering; wouldn't it be possible to put the backpack of the advancing Legionaire FFL1 from the Inter War/French Foreign Legion on the figure, add the shoulderstraps and make a mould? Or, maybe even better; cast the backpacks separate so we can stick 'em on any French figure we like? Maybe some of the Franco Prussian war backpacks would also do in this scale?
Just an idea but maybe worthwhile considering?
