Hi All,
what pose are these Imperial Lewis gunners in? Any one got any pictures?
I'm thinking about adding a few to my dismounted cavalry and infantry for Sinai 1916.
Also anyone got any ideas for a suitable figure for Lowland infantry from 52nd Division, currently looking like a mix of Imperial & Australian infantry but would like some figures with tam o'shanter (which I think is what they wore).
Thanks,
Paul
Could be a greenstuff job.

Pic above so people have an idea of the figures required. Have to agree, only other option is head swaps from BP15 Highlanders, early WW1 British heads (with the peak removed) and green stuff pompom, or German sailors/Royal Naval Division heads, either with added green stuff pompom. According to Osprey the only concession in Gallipoli was a Wolseley helmet. Probably a need for figures in the generic shorts and puttees wearing service cap (maybe with neck flap) and tam for both the Gallipoli and Palestine campaigns, may be something to think about for the 2015 centenary of Gallipoli. Was the Kiwi lemon squeezer general issue for Galliopli, I think it was later, not sure?
Haven't got a picture of the Imperial Lewis Gunners (would like to see one myself) but here are the highlanders:-

The officer looks handy in any case.

Are the BP Highlands in jackets?
What you want is my Highlander conversion in tammy but with the putty kilt ripped off! If he's sitting around Pendraken HQ after moulding, would be a simple process?

Lewis gunner is a skinny chap walking carrying his weapon.

Hello
Those Middle East Scots look great, just the thing for Pulp as well as Palestine.
Will they ever be released? I can just see them roaring around the interwar NWF and Middle East :).
How about a nice Crossley armoured car to go with them

More conversion work?

Dave told me a long while back that they were moulded up but no more news. :( Absolutely necessary for the Relief of Kut. I could redo the piper but I'd like to see know how this one came out in the moulding process.
I thought there was a special tandem design for kilt-wearing laddies. ;D
[hopefully] photo of ME22 Imperial Lewis Gunners attached.
