Title: A couple of requests answered!
Post by: Leon on 08 August 2014, 12:05:51 AM
We managed to schedule a bit of time to get some of the more popular requests done, so we can now knock these off the lists.

Dark Age civilians:

Resculpted rocket for the 1860's Austrians:

Extra poses of WWII British Commando's:

As always, keep the votes coming in, we always listen to what people want and we'll keep ticking the requests off.

I rather like those Commando's - they appeal for a hard bitten veteran AVBCW unit as well :)

Lovely work as usual - though I think the rocket may be a bit broken.

Sign me up for the civvies and the Commandos.

There are 10 types of people in the world.

Those who understand binary.

Those who don't.

And those who understand ternary :)

They've been master moulded, so we'll just need to get enough cast off for a production mould and get them into the queue.  Early next year I'd think?

New year! And there was me putting them on my Christmas list!
Seriously - Commandos are first rate sculpts and have such a generic time range from early WW2 up until late 1960s, and even later painted as other Third world irregulars.

I predict they will be a best seller.

They are very close, they've all been master moulded and cast off, I just need to get them checked over and arranged for the production moulds.  Probably by the end of the month or early March?

Yep, these are in the works as well, as are the Dark Age civilians they were previewed with.  The one thing holding both back is that they only take up a third of a mould each, so ideally we need some more items for those two periods (WWII and Dark Ages) to go into the moulds with them.

All cast off and ready for production moulding as well, but a similar issue to the others that it'll use up around 1/3rd of a mould so we'd prefer to have something later 19th C. to go in with it.  There was a chap after some wood stacks though, so that might be an option...  ;)

Still no news on those, the Commando's are going into a production mould with the Goliath, so we need a third item for that mould.  The wood stacks are going to go in with the new Austrian Rockets I think.

Not sure, we still need something to go into the mould with them.  We've got the Goliath teams, plus there's some extra German codes coming soon, so we'll have to see if those can fill that final third.
