Right - what would you like to see for my next batrep here? Let me know...I'll run this poll for a week & then go with the majority vote [I'm such a crowd-pleaser ;)] ;D
Oh - and it'd be good to see more batreps with your Pendraken armies too BTW!
SCW, as I have some on order and will be using BKC!
Hi Stuart,
Nik, Kiwidave and myself will be putting on a demo game of SCW at Colours in September if you can make it. Fingers crossed it should look good and be fun to play.
Steve J.
How about Aliens vs NWE Germans?

That's not fair on the Aliens ;D
I should note here:
SCW / WW2 would be using BKCII
Moderns = Cold War Commander
Sci-fi = Future War Commander
ECW = RenaissanceMaster
Napoleonics / ACW = Black Powder

Cool, I'm trying to place where Colours is, is that the one at Newbury Racecourse?
Yes, it is Stuart.
Some modern soviets could be great !
More votes please folks - this is looking very undecided :-\

We'll be releasing the 1933 model of the T26 next month, for the SCW.

Hmm...can see some of those being needed for the Colours SCW game 8)
I'll run this poll until Saturday night: I still need to fight what I've got set up at moment [Modern British Civil War c1987] & then I'll get to this - whatever wins ;D
Right folks - any last minute votes? I'm going to close the poll at midnight GMT - so you've got 3.5 hrs to vote ;D
Blimey - 451 members & 20 have voted...
Come on - even if your favourite's not here, feel free to give an opinion! 8)

I think a lot of people don't check the Batreps board much! Could maybe do with putting something in the General Discussion area as well next time.

What's the matter with them? Call themselves wargamers &
don't check the
Batreps section??!
Hell's teeth :o ;) ;D 8) :P
I'll stick something in the August Newsletter I think.
Coolio - but for now, looks like SCW.
OK - give me a couple days to fight out a Modern British Civil War [10mm, some Pendraken, mostly MF & Dragon etc] and then I'll get a nice SCW scrap set-up 8)
Right - managed to get my Modern British Civil War [c1987] fought out yesterday - batrep in progress...
This means I can get my SCW batrep set up at some point this week... 8)
Modern British Civil War batrep is now up on my wiki - here: http://nikharwood.pbworks.com/CWC-British-Civil-War:-Contact!
I'll get the SCW scrap set up in the next couple of days...
voted here, but wasted it as I am the only one in my choice :o
Don't panic - I'll do all of them at some point ;D
It'd be nice to see some other folks posting theirs though...surely I'm not the only one actually playing with his toys am I??! :o ;D
As soon as I get my dino stuff and Pendraken minis painted etc i| promise to do one hows that! got a film to make here ;D
Good man [assumption] - what're you filming then? Can you tell...?
My BONG 8th wonder of the world film.....lol ;D
Cool - who've you cast as the totty-interest then? :P 8)
We've got some Helpless Maidens in the Fantasy range, handily tied to stakes and rocks...
:P
Has my order left yet, if not they sound interesting, foor purely filmographic reasons obvioulsy ;D.... any female civilians that would fit in pre tied upness?

I haven't got to your order yet, so I'll pop a sample of them in for you.
Leon you are a star ;D
In an absolutely shocking display of ignore-the-voter-democracy I've unilaterally / fascistically decided that I'm, in fact, not going to go with SCW - mainly because this is what myself, Kiwidave & SteveJ (along with Gun-Pit Paul - he's not on this forum I don't think but that's OK cos he's an ex-squaddie, swears a lot & loves 6mm - but we forgive him ;)) are putting on at Colours in September...
...so what I've actually done is to prepare a nice little scrap: what we've got (on a smallish table) is German SS sleeping in a farm about to get a surprise courtesy of some D-Day US Paras - again, I'll have to get the camera sorted before I can fight it though...but to be honest it's about-bloody-time those US Paras got into action!
Hoping to bung dice at this one tomorrow / Saturday- by which time I'm sure I'll have the camera sorted too..! Watch for the batrep 8)
cool :) :D :D
Mooooore batreps..... more batreps.... we need moooooore 8)
pleeeeease :D
Six <--- ever hopeful
The hold-up on the US Para v SS one is that half of the terrain went to Colours for the SCW game & I've not managed to pick it up from Gun-Pit Paul yet! I'll either have to delay until I can do that, or rearrange the landscape! [or, of course, fight something else entirely :-\]
