Really nice sculpts, which I presume are 10mm?

Post by: barbarian on 22 July 2014, 12:13:14 PM
It is 10mm. I'm planning to do some heavy weapons to put on the back of the Technical.
Maybe a STG too, a donkey, a mortar and some civilians.

I want to play Force on Force in 10mm.

I hope that Pendraken will do at some point some modern Coalition soldiers, some helicopters and vehicles.

There are three versions of the M113 in the Vietnam range. Four if you count the M125 mortar carrier.

Great sculpts, having dabbled in 10mm sculpts I can appreciate the effort it took to get results, great they are too, ever thought of sculpting insectoids, I'd love an ant man army with dragonflies for them to ride on,oh and stag beetle cavalry. God knows why!! But they would be awesomely obscure

That's a nice figure.

I hate to say it but I could be persuaded into the period by figures like that.

I fear I may be turning into FK  :o :o :o :o

FK wants some Aztecs.
Fantasy? Gives not a damn!
I wish I were like FK.
Oh gods! Perhaps I am!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Those two bits of doggerel are definitely barking.

Please dont make any more Aztecs, the sugar content is very bad for me.

Thanks.

Some of my late romans being re-based for Mayhem (as Rohirrims) Many are on their Warmaster bases.
Many are not finished, yet.

Am I the only one who dread to paint spears ? It is really annoying for me, I cannot choose the right colour, plus it seems that I always forget some part of it.

You are not alone, B. The reason I use a black undercoat is so that the bits I miss don't show up. For spears, pikes and other wooden shafted weapons I've taken to using a fairly light tan colour (Citadel XV-88) which shows up well against darker garments.

Nice terrain, by the way, I like the way you've used different textures to suggest cultivated fields.  :-bd

Hi, Barbarian.
You almost certainly won't understand the reference to 'Orville'.
Trust me......You're a very lucky man because of this fact.

DP will go into one of my little black books.....Because I'l lhave that ****ing awful song in my head for the rest of the day.....And it's DP's fault. !!!!

Some Warband minis arrived.
I didn't resist the urge to modify them.
It will likely be used as a Warmachine for the Uruk-hai.
Base is 40 mm x 40 mm.

Loving the modern sculpts, they'd fit very nicely with my modern rules, they'll be going to publisher in May, any play testers wanting to give them a go can mail me. It's squad level 4-6 minis on a base depending on the forces you use, 2-3 minis on command stands and support weapons, vehicles are based singley. It's qucker than forces on force but units are similarly arranged. Designed for 10mm, depth of detail similar to Warmaster/ black powder. I've put some pictures of example forces on SSQ Facebook page, YouTube vid planned when rules are published.
