What are the chances of armoured Mongols on armoured horses being added to the existing range at any time? They are the only troop type missing and there were quite a lot of them.
Can't you use some Centurions?
I'll get me coat...
;D ;D ;D

So that's where I've been going wrong. I thought you were supposed to use it before it got hard enough to crack. (Keep it clean fellas.)

With a set up line like that - You are joking!
I'm not sure where we'll be able to fit those into the schedule, so I've popped them on the request lists.

Can't 'crack' green stuff....Got too much 'give' in it ;)
Brown putty..
That you can shatter and crack !.....Quite brittle when it sets.)
(Hardly ever use the stuff......Too bloody expensive !)

The only definitive evidence of Mongols using shields I have found is when the Guard (the
keshig) were on guard duty on foot. None of my sources mention using them mounted or in combat.
Being new to the forum but having read the thread about the 'top 10 wishlist' I would also like to add my vote to the list as well.
And as that was your first post 'Fig'.....
A very warm welcome to the forum.
Cheers - Phil
Welcome from me as well. Anyone who likes Mongols is ok as far as I am concerned. You'll come across people who have a thing about Centurion tanks or Aztecs or somesuch but don't let it bother you.
Thanks for the welcome Techno (Phil) and Subedai.
Re the warning about peoples fantasies likes and dislikes I have read enough of the threads on here to realise it is populated by an eclectic bunch. :)
What ho, Mr HT, or may I call you Hormone-Treatment?
I will hold my hand up and confess to being a massive Centurion fan - but don't let it bother you.

Eclectic ?.....I might have used something a bit stronger ! ;D ;D ;D.
(And I do include myself 'in the bunch', before anyone says anything. ;))
Cheers - Phil.
FSN - Hell from now on I am going to be known as 'Hormone Treatment'! :'(
Techno - I am new on here, just a Cadet, I am sure my language will become more 'appropriate' over the next few weeks. :d
It won't take you long, Matey. ;D ;D ;D
Just enjoy the lunacy. (Especially from 'Nobby'..aka FSN.)
Also be aware, that there really is a huge amount of wonderful information to be gleaned from so many of the folk here.
Cheers - Phil.
Hiya Fig.ht,
welcome to the forum.
You might want to check your electronic dictionary ... it seems to confuse the words eclectic and eccentric :)

Yaayy! Just seen the Mongol extra heavies have leapt in at No. 9 in the list.
After converting some, +1!

I did think of you and have a quiet chuckle when I read about them.
Same thing happened to me last century. I bought about £30 worth of 15mm Macedonians from Mike's Models when they were 2p an inf and 4p a cav figure. Two months later Mike's Models had an advert in Military Modelling announcing a new range...you guessed it, 15mm Macedonians! Had to buy some more and still got 'em.
